Statement of Faith

  • As a Christian coach and consultant, I believe that true change—of heart, soul, mind, and strength—comes not from within the self, but from surrender to Jesus Christ, the risen Lord and Great Physician. My work is grounded in historic, biblical Christianity, informed by the Reformed tradition, and guided by the unchanging Word of God.

  • I affirm the following core beliefs:

    • The Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is the sovereign Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all things. He is holy, just, loving, and unchanging.

    • Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary atonement for sinners, rose bodily from the grave, and reigns as Lord over all. There is no healing apart from Him.

    • The Holy Spirit regenerates, convicts, comforts, and sanctifies God’s people. All lasting transformation is the Spirit’s work, not the product of man-made techniques or self-help philosophies.

    • The Bible is the final and sufficient authority in all matters of faith, life, and counseling. Psychology, neuroscience, and social sciences may provide insight, but they must be tested and interpreted through the lens of Scripture.

    • Mankind is made in God’s image—with dignity, purpose, and moral responsibility. We are born into sin, spiritually dead, and in need of redemption. Emotional struggles often reflect deeper spiritual realities that cannot be medicated or rebranded into neutrality.

    • I uphold biblical manhood and womanhood. God created us male and female, equal in value but distinct in role. The husband is the head of the household, called to lead with love and strength. The wife is his helpmeet, called to honor and build up the home under God’s design. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman for life.

    • Sanctification is the goal, not mere symptom relief. Counseling should guide individuals toward Christlikeness, moral clarity, emotional self-governance, and spiritual maturity—not just coping mechanisms or temporary comfort.

  • I hold to a Deuteronomy 32 worldview, recognizing that the unseen realm is real. Many struggles are not merely psychological—they are spiritual battles, with roots in lies, wounds, sin, and demonic influence. Christ has already triumphed over the powers of darkness, and healing must be done under His authority.

  • I do not use modalities, theories, or practices that, without including the redeeming value of Scripture and the Holy Spirit, promote secular humanist ideologies that elevate the prideful self over the truth of the person’s identity in Christ. This includes excusing sinful patterns or practices, or encouraging identity apart from the love of God the Father. I do not affirm modern psychological frameworks or goals that contradict God’s revealed word. This includes identities that depart from a biblical understanding of gender, sexuality, or fallen human nature.

  • I believe the Church, the family, and the local body of believers are God’s appointed instruments for healing, discipleship, and accountability. My counseling is designed to strengthen these institutions, not replace them.

  • Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead. Until then, I counsel with eternity in view, calling each person to repentance, restoration, and right relationship with God.
